The Budget Session of Parliament resumes today, March 17, with both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha convening after a break due to Holi. The Lok Sabha will focus on key legislative matters, including the presentation of several reports from various standing committees. Key discussions include the presentation of the reports on Defence, External Affairs, and Social Justice and Empowerment. Additionally, the Demands for Grants under the Ministry of Railways for 2025-26 will be discussed and voted on. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also introduce a motion for the election of two members to the University of Delhi's court.

Amritsar Temple Attack: Accused Killed In Encounter

Gursidak Singh, the man accused of Amritsar Temple grenade attack has been killed by the police during an encounter after specific intel was received by the police about the location of the accused. Singh was a resident of Bal village of Amritsar. Another accused Raju, from Rajasansi, has been absconding from the spot. Police team on Monday morning went to nab the accused with specific intel inputs about their movements. When Station Head Officer tried to stop the accused who was riding a motorcycle, they opened fire at the police. During the encounter, head constable Gurpreet Singh has been injured.

Delhi Records Minimum Temperature of 16.8 Deg C, Aqi 'Satisfactory'
