A video of a protestor being mercilessly beaten has emerged; the man, who was quietly standing near a barricade was shockingly beaten by the Calcutta Police.

The shocking visuals are proof of the brutalities unleashed by the Mamata cops on the student protestors, who wanted nothing but a peaceful protest, to ensure justice in the RG Kar Rape and Murder Case.

A shocking video has emerged from the ongoing protests where a man is being dragged on the roads by the Calcutta Police officers. The protestor is being pulled by his t-shirt on the road.

The Mamata cops have not even spared the women protestors as they have faced the brutalities of the Calcutta Police irrespective of their age.

The demonstration, led by student platform Chhatrasamaj and the Sangrami Joutha Mancha of state government employees, began from College Square in north Kolkata and Santragachi in Howrah.

Protesters are demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the arrest of those responsible for the crime.
