British national found dead on Goa's Agonda beach, probe begins

According to Goa police, the tourist has been identified as Emma Louise Leaning and her body was found at Agonda beach without any external injuries.

Panaji: A dead body of a British woman was found near a beach in South Goa. According to the police, the tourist has been identified as Emma Louise Leaning and her body was found without any external injuries. 

"Her friends do not suspect any foul play," a senior police official said. He also said that the woman's body was “under decomposition stage” when it was discovered at the Agonda beach in Canacona.

Her body was sent for postmortem to the district hospital in Margao town of South Goa and a case has been registered to probe what the Police called it an unnatural death. Meanwhile, a probe has been ordered by the Police to investigate the mysterious death.
