GURUGRAM: On Wednesday, three drug peddlers were arrested by the authorities for allegedly planning the murder of a police informant. The three accused have been identified as Subham (22), a Krishna Nagar resident, Prashant Parashar (21), a resident of Devilal colony and Bhakti Lama (25), a resident of West Bengal. A pistol was recovered from Gurugram resident Prashant, with Subham being found in possession of five cartridges and Bhakti Lama having 22.80 grams of heroin on his person.

According to a PTI report, during interrogation, all three revealed that they were involved in the sale or supply of ‘high-end drugs’ and Prashant specifically had previously been caught with a stolen motorcycle due to a tip-off by a local. This is not the full extent of the trios criminal past, with Bhakti Lam being involved in eight cases ranging from the supply of drugs to child abuse and the other two having two cases each registered against them.
