Maharashtra shocker: Woman and her two children found dead in Thane, husband absconding
A woman and her two children were found dead at their home in Thane, Maharashtra, with her husband absconding.
Maharashtra: A 24-year-old woman and her two children, aged eight and six, were found dead at their home in Thane on Thursday, December 21. Bodies of the three were discovered at their residence at around 8:30 am, police officials said. One of the deceased had a cricket bat lodged in the head.
The family was staying at the Jaywant Shinde Chawl in the Kasarvadavali area of Thane district near Mumbai. In a shocking twist, the 29-year-old husband of the deceased woman has gone missing.
The deceased female has been identified as Bhavna Amit Bagdi, the wife of Amit Dharmaveer Bagdi. Their two children, an eight-year-old son and a six-year-old daughter, were also found dead at the same location.
The bodies were discovered by Vikas Dharmaveer Bagdi, the brother of Amit, who is missing. Amit had been reportedly visiting his wife and children for the past three days and his whereabouts are not known now.
Amit Bagdi was reportedly into drinking heavily and was not staying with his family. As a result, his wife Bhavna and their two children reportedly resided with Vikas in Sainagar in Kasarvadavali for two years. Later, the woman and children shifted to the Jaywant Shinde Chawl, where they had been staying for seven years before their sudden demise.
Vikas found Bhavna and her kids dead and informed the Kasarvadavali police.
The Kasarvadavali police believe that Amit Bagdi is absconding and are treating him as the prime accused. The cops are investigating the case further for the possible motive and are also on the lookout for Amit Bagdi.
