Man found dead in taxi parked outside hospital in Delhi's Khayala

The body of the man, in his forties, was recovered from a vehicle parked outside a hospital in West Delhi's Khayala area, police said.

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, the body of an unidentified man was found in a taxi in the national capital on Tuesday. The body of the man, in his forties, was recovered from an abandoned vehicle parked outside a hospital in West Delhi's Khayala area, police said. 

The body lay on the rear seat of a Maruti Swift Desire parked outside Guru Govind Singh Hospital. Police said that the car bore Haryana taxi registration number.

After receiving information about the body by a passerby, police started an investigation into the matter. More details are awaited.

In a separate incident, body of an unidentified man was recovered from Silchar Medical College and Hospital premises in Assam on Tuesday. The deceased's body has been kept at the morgue, with a hope that somebody will come and identify it.
