Massive protest erupts in Northeast Delhi after three severed heads of bovines recovered

A massive protest erupted in the Shiv Vihar area of the national capital on Sunday, after the local people found the severed heads of three bovines in the area. As the news surfaced, several people in Northeast Delhi's Shiv Vihar area gathered at the spot and started protesting against the incident.

On the information, various police teams along with senior police officials of the Delhi police reached the spot and seized the body remains of the animals.

Body remains of animals have been sent for postmortem, says police official

The senior police officials interacted with the protestors at the site and assured them of appropriate action against the culprits. A case has been registered in the matter and investigation has been initiated, said a police official.

The official stated, "We got a call about chopped heads of cow or bull found at an abandoned area in Shiv Vihar. The police are taking necessary legal action into the matter.”

The body remains of the animals have been sent to veterinarians to conduct a postmortem. Further inquiry is being done in the matter.
