Three men found dead at same site in Poonch, where Army was ambushed by terrorists a day before
The police officials said that the deceased were among the eight people reportedly picked up by the Army for questioning in connection with Thursday's attack.
In another sensational incident, three people were found dead under suspicious circumstances near the site in J&K’s Poonch district on Friday, where terrorists had ambushed two Army vehicles claiming the lives of five soldiers. The incident surfaced a day after the deadly attack on the Indian Army convoy on Thursday by terrorists.
The area comes under the jurisdiction of the Surankote police station in Poonch. The police officials said that the deceased were among the eight people reportedly picked up by the Army for questioning in connection with Thursday's attack at Dhatyar Morh, between Dhera Ki Gali and Bufliaz.

The officials identified the deceased as Safeer Hussain (43), Mohammad Showket (27) and Shabir Ahmad (32), all residents of Topa Peer village of Bufliaz. The police have shifted the bodies to a mortuary for postmortem. According to the police, the cause of death is not known yet. Police are examining the incident to ascertain the facts related to the death of the three men.
Deputy Commissioner of Poonch, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin and Senior Superintendent of Police, Vinay Kumar reached Bufliaz following the reports of the deaths of the three men.
Earlier, on Thursday afternoon, three to four heavily armed terrorists targeted two Army vehicles, killing five soldiers and leaving two injured. It is being claimed that the terrorists also took the weapons of some of the martyred soldiers.
