Daughter Stabs Stepfather After Being Sexually Assaulted by Him

In a shocking incident in the Santosh Bhuvan area of Nalasopara East, a 24-year-old woman attacked her stepfather with a knife after enduring continuous sexual abuse at his hands. The incident occurred around 3 PM on Monday.

The victim, who resides in the Sarvodaya Nagar chawl in Santosh Bhuvan, had been experiencing torment for the past two years, during which her stepfather, Ramesh Bharti, pressured her into unwanted physical relationships. On that fateful day, when he once again attempted to assault her, the young woman decided to take a drastic step in self-defense.

According to Sources, the woman initially asked Ramesh to blindfold her, claiming she was feeling ashamed. Seizing the moment, she then suddenly attacked him with a knife, inflicting serious injuries, including a wound to his genitals. In pain, Ramesh fled out of the house, but the enraged woman chased him down the street, continuing her assault with the knife in hand. Witnesses reported seeing her walking the streets armed, which left locals in shock, with some capturing the entire ordeal on video.

Upon receiving news of the incident, the Tulinj police quickly arrived at the scene and took the woman into custody. An investigation has been initiated, and further actions are being taken in this distressing case.
