30 flights delayed, 12 diverted as fog disrupts operations at Delhi airport | LIST HERE

New Delhi: As cold waves gripped the national capital on Tuesday, flight operations at Delhi airport were affected. According to airport officials, as many as 30 flights, including international ones, are facing delays at both arrivals and departure. 12 Delhi-bound flights diverted
As of now, 11 Delhi-bound flights have been diverted to Jaipur whereas one was diverted to Lucknow due to adverse weather conditions and air traffic congestion at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, airport sources said.

The Delhi airport also issued an advisory for the passengers. The airport authorities said while landing and takeoffs are continuing at the Delhi airport, flights that are not CAT III compliant may get affected. “Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for the updated flight information. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted,” they said in an advisory.
Over 20 trains delayed due to fog
Over 20 Delhi-bound trains are running late by 1 to 6 hours due to low visibility. Operations of Rajdhani and Duronto category trains have also been affected. Hazrat Nizamuddin, Old Delhi, and Anand Vihar stations reported similar challenging conditions.
