'Don't you have any shame?': Brave Bengaluru woman confronts sexual harasser at Metro station

The woman's private parts were reportedly touched by the accused.

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident that has come to light on Sunday, a woman was allegedly molested at the Majestic Metro Station on January 1. The woman's private parts were reportedly touched by the accused. Following the incident, the woman informed a staff from the Namma Metro security department. Upon probing the accused, the BMRC official handed the harasser over to the police.

In a video, the woman is seen confronting the harasser at the station in the presence of the BMRC staff. In the visual, the accused pleads to the staff to allow him to speak with the woman. "Why should I speak to you? Are you my boyfriend? Don't you have any shame? Don't you have any woman in your house?," asked the woman. After this, the security official said, "Let's take you (harasser) to the police station. Let the police take action against you." Turning towards the woman, the guard said, "Don't worry madam, will take care of him".

According to sources, the man allegedly confessed before the police and also apologised. He was allegedly sent off with just a warning, as per sources.
