Mizoram Earthquake: Magnitude 3.5 strikes Mizoram’s Lunglei

According to the NCS, the tremors were felt around 7.18am.

Lunglei: An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter Scale struck Lunglei in Mizoram on Friday morning, the National Center for Seismology said.

According to the NCS, the tremors were felt around 7.18am.

The epicentre of the quake was located in Lunglei in Mizoram at a depth of 10km.

The NCS tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.5, Occurred on 05-01-2024, 07:18:58 IST, Lat: 22.86 & Long: 92.63, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: Lunglei, Mizoram, India(sic).”

However, there were no immediate reports of any injuries and damages.
