According to the petition filed by Gupta's family on Friday morning, he alleged several violations during his detention in Czech custody.

Gupta claimed he was forced to consume beef and pork, directly conflicting with his devout Hindu and vegetarian beliefs. This alleged infringement on his religious rights forms a significant part of his plea for release.
