New Delhi: As we rang bell for 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, January 01, 2024, extended his greetings for the New Year. In a post shared on X, read, "Wishing everyone a splendid 2024! May this year bring forth prosperity, peace and wonderful health for all."

Furthermore, chief ministers and other political leaders also shared their greetings.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on X shared a poster-cum wish for the citizens of the country. It read "Wishing you abundant joy, good health in the coming year. May the days ahead be filled with happiness and success for you and your loved ones."

Congress MP Rahul and his mother Sonia Gandhi extended their warm greetings for New Year 2024. In a post shared on social media X, Rahul posted a picture of himself and his mother with the post reading, “May the New Year bring happiness and prosperity in all your lives and the message of justice and love in India. Wishing everyone a very happy and prosperous New Year 2024.”
