Dharamsala (HP): The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board postponed board exams in snow-affected areas of Pangi (Chamba) and Lahaul-Spiti, citing severe weather conditions and disrupted transport routes, officials said on Monday. The exams, originally scheduled from March 4, will now begin after March 8 in these regions.
Severe Snowfall Disrupted Exam Arrangements
Due to heavy snowfall and rainfall, roads in Pangi and Lahaul-Spiti remained blocked, preventing the delivery of question papers and exam materials.
Board Secretary Vishal Sharma stated, “If weather conditions improve and examination materials reach the affected regions, exams will be conducted after March 8, along with the remaining exams in the state. Revised dates will be announced soon.”
