Kullu: In a tragic incident, two people are feared to have drowned in the Pin Parvati River in Himachal's Kullu district, police said on Thursday.
According to police, the two young men went for a bath in the river earlier in the afternoon but have since gone missing.
“They are suspected to have drowned,” cop said.
Police said that authorities, along with local residents, are conducting a search for the missing youths, and divers have also been deployed to assist in the operation.
Meanwhile in a tragic incident, a 17-year-old boy drowned while bathing in a river in Mathura on February 23.
The deceased has been identified as Pritam Vishwas, who had come from West Bengal's New Jalpaiguri to visit Braj in Mathura.
Police said that the teenager had come with his parents and other family members.
According to police, efforts were made to rescue the child; however, he died by the time he was brought out.
Further investigation is underway, cops added.
