Hyderabad wakes up to dense fog, woollens out as temperature dips

Hyderabad: A thick layer of fog engulfed Hyderabad on Friday morning as the temperature dipped further. Visuals have emerged from Tank Bund area in the city which shows a blanket of fog enveloping the city. The city has been reeling under cold waves for the past few days. 

The city experienced a notable improvement in terms of visibility, particularly at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on Thursday. A minimum temperature of 16.9 degrees Celsius was reported on Thursday, which was notably higher than the normal average of 15.2 degrees Celsius for this time of the year.
