WATCH inaugural run of 1st Amrit Bharat Express from Malda as it begins its journey with Dhol-Tasha

This Saturday saw the virtual launch of a new weekly train from Malda, the Amrit Bharat Express, which linked Malda and Bangalore.

Amrit Bharat Express News: Massive celebrations were held at Kharagpur to mark the magnificent opening of the Amrit Bharat Express, which runs from Malda to Bangalore. Its portray the people, culture, and accomplishments of the nation throughout its history. In the video that Indian Railways posted, a lively crowd at Kharagpur station commemorating the launch of Malda Town-Bengaluru witnessed an impressive traditional dance performance. "Brilliant cultural dance performance amidst a gleeful crowd at Kharagpur station celebrating the inaugural run of Malda Town-Bengaluru #AmritBharatTrain," Indian Railways posted on X, formerly twitter.

The celebration persisted the entire journey. Malda Town-Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Train arrives at Jaleswar Railway Station to lively music performed by Dhol Tasha. "Malda Town - Bengaluru #AmritBharatTrain is welcomed with the vibrant beats of Dhol Tasha at Jaleswar Railway Station" is the description for another video that Indian Railways shared. While crossing Balasore Railway Station, the same vivid video was observed.

This Saturday saw the virtual launch of a new weekly train from Malda, the Amrit Bharat Express, which linked Malda and Bangalore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi digitally launched the train from Ayodhya. This brought about the fulfillment of the long-standing request of the people living in the districts of Malda, North, and South Dinajpur. The Amrit Bharat Express train, which is headed for Bangalore, started running normally on December 31 at 8:45 a.m.

With a push-pull arrangement, the train has two engines at either end. The engine is now speedier thanks to the employment of cutting-edge technology. Though it won't have automated doors, it will feature all the amenities of the present day, such as sensor taps, LED lighting, mobile charging stations, bio-toilets, and CCTV cameras in each coach. There will be a fire extinguishing system in every compartment of the train. The Integral Coach Factory in Chennai is the manufacturer of the train. There are 12 sleeping coaches, 8 ordinary coaches, and 2 coaches designated for physically challenged passengers on the train. The train leaves Malda every Sunday at 8.50 am and arrives in Bangalore on Tuesday at 3 am. Every Tuesday at 1.50 pm, it departs Bangalore and arrives back in Malda at 11 am on Thursday.
