Karnataka: A woman lost her life after being hit by a KSRTC bus near Karnataka's Tumakuru Town Hall. The entire horrific accident was captured on CCTV footage, revealing the recklessness of the bus driver, Satish.

CCTV Captures Horrific Incident

Driver’s Negligence Led to Fatal Accident

The KSRTC bus, belonging to the Kadur depot, was traveling from Kadur to Bengaluru when the tragic accident occurred. 

The victim, identified as Manjamma, was crossing the road when Satish, the driver, carelessly struck her with the bus.

Shockingly, even after hitting Manjamma, Satish continued to drive forward without stopping. The front wheel of the bus crushed her, followed by the rear wheel, which ultimately claimed her life on the spot.

Bus Driver Stopped Only After the Fatal Incident

Once the rear wheel had passed over Manjamma, Satish finally stopped the bus. However, by then, it was too late to save the victim. 

CCTV footage from the area clearly captured the driver’s negligence, showing that he made no attempt to stop even after hitting the woman.

Police Registered a Case

Following the horrific accident, a case was registered at the Tumakuru Traffic Police Station. 

Officials confirmed that further investigation was underway.
