Kolkata: Five rescued after fire breaks out at residential building at Nonapukur

There were no immediate reports of any injuries in the fire incident.

Kolkata: Five people, including two women and two children, were rescued after a fire broke out on the third floor of a residential building in Kolkata's Nonapukur area on Sunday afternoon, reported news agency PTI quoting officials as saying. The building was located at 179 AJC Bose Road, near the Nonapukur Tram Depot.

Five fire engines were rushed to the spot to douse the flames that erupted in the building. There were no immediate reports of any injuries in the fire incident. The cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained, officials said.
