Maharashtra Weather Update: Yellow Alert Issued In Pune, Cold Wave To Worsen In Nagpur And Mumbai

Maharashtra: Over the course of the next three days, isolated areas of the state may experience rain and thunder. In several locations, light rain and cloudy skies are expected. Today, rain is expected to fall in several areas of Maharashtra, including Jalgaon, Dhule, and Nandurbar in the north. This is based on the forecast from the Indian Meteorological Department. 

Pune: Yellow Alert For Rain

Pune is under a yellow alert today, according to the meteorological department. The sky in Pune is going to be partly cloudy and largely clear today. There will be fog in Pune for the following three days as well. There is a chance of thunder, lightning, and light rain on the eighth and ninth. 

Nagpur: Weather Updates

For the next three days, the Regional Meteorological Center has forecasted cloudy skies, isolated lightning strikes, and the risk of rain in Nagpur. Vidarbha will also see no change in the current circumstances. On Sunday, Nagpur's weather turned wet in the afternoon and light fog in the morning. The cloud cover has caused an increase in the amount of dew in the atmosphere.

Mumbai: Weather Update

Mumbai's weather is also going to be cloudy today. There will be more fog in certain areas. There is a decrease in temperature in Mumbai as well. Additionally, Akola, Amravati, Buldhana, and other Vidarbha districts have been issued a yellow alert for rain today. At this location, thunderstorms and lightning are anticipated. The temperature in Nashik, Kolhapur, and Satara has also dropped significantly. Over the next three days, the cold will get worse. In certain areas, light to very light rain is predicted. 

According to the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) most recent forecast, cold weather will continue for a few days in a number of north Indian districts. But over the next few days, it will progressively lose its intensity.
