Union Minister Smriti Irani shared a video of the surprise visit, highlighting Meera as the 10 croreth beneficiary of the Ujjwala scheme.

Meera, unaware of the Prime Minister's visit, recounted the encounter, stating that PM Modi inquired about the benefits of the Ujjwala scheme and even enjoyed a cup of tea. "I was very happy seeing the prime minister," Meera said. “We got the house in his Awas scheme. We are also getting water, and I am now cooking on gas. It will save my time, and I will now get more time to spend with my children.”

The visit concluded with PM Modi proceeding to the next leg of his program, the inauguration of the Maharshi Valmiki airport and various other development projects, leaving Meera Manjhi and her family with an unforgettable and heartwarming experience.
