A recent incident showcases their heroic spirit when the squad sprang into action to assist a woman in labor, bleeding heavily in a rundown taxi. Thanks to the swift response of the Nirbhaya Squad, the expectant mother was rushed to a hospital where she welcomed a healthy baby boy, and both are now safe and sound.

On that fateful day, while patrolling the Sewri police , the Nirbhaya Squad received a distress call from the South Control Room at 12:54 PM, alerting them that a pregnant woman urgently needed assistance in a junkyard taxi in Chandni Chowk. Without hesitation, the officers sped to the scene, finding Masooma Sheikh in severe distress.

Understanding the gravity of the situation, the squad quickly contacted emergency services at 108. An ambulance, led by Dr. Sultan, arrived promptly, and, with the police officers' help, Masooma was transported to JJ Hospital, where crucial medical care awaited her.

To their surprise, upon arrival, it was discovered that Masooma's relatives were not present. Demonstrating immense dedication, the officers took charge of the paperwork and ensured she received the necessary support during this critical time.

In a joyous turn, it was reported that Masooma successfully delivered a baby boy, bringing joy to what had initially been a frightening situation. With her husband away and residing temporarily with her grandmother, Majauda Sheikh, who works in Nagpada, her family was swiftly informed about the safe arrival of their new member.
