Mumbai: In a surprising turn of events, real estate mogul and billionaire Niranjan Hiranandani, co-founder and managing director of Hiranandani Group, opted for the bustling Mumbai local as a mode of transportation. A video capturing his journey surfaced on Instagram, showcasing the 73-year-old waiting at the platform, boarding the AC coach, and traveling to Ulhasnagar, a city in Maharashtra's Thane district.

Hiranandani shared the video on Friday, highlighting his choice to use Mumbai's local trains as a strategic move to save time and bypass the city's notorious traffic.

The video garners over 22 million views 

Since its online debut, the video has garnered over 22 million views, with numerous individuals applauding the billionaire for opting for public transport. Comments poured in expressing admiration for Mr. Hiranandani's down-to-earth approach and the positive impact such practices could have on issues like pollution and infrastructure development.

However, some Instagram users raised concerns, pointing out that Mr. Hiranandani may have boarded the handicapped coach, which is reserved for individuals with physical disabilities, pregnant women, and cancer patients.
