Mumbai: Laxmi Nivas bungalow, one of Mumbai's most iconic heritage properties, has been sold in a record-breaking real estate deal.

Located in the prestigious Nepean Sea Road area, this historic mansion fetched a remarkable Rs 276 crore, making it one of the priciest residential transactions in the city.

Meet New Owners of Laxmi Nivas Bungalow

Vageshwari Properties Private Limited are the new owners of the Laxmi Nivas Bungalow.

According to several reports, Elina Nikhil Meswani is one of the directors of Vageshwari Properties. Elina Meswani is the wife of Nikhil Meswani, who is an executive director at Reliance Industries.

Nikhil Meswani is a chemical engineer and the son of Rasiklal Meswani, one of the Founder Directors of the Reliance Industries Limited, as per the information made available by RIL on its official website.  

Laxmi Nivas Bungalow: Its Rich History

Laxmi Nivas Bungalow holds significant historical importance in India's struggle for independence, having acted as a refuge for several key freedom fighters during the early 1940s, just prior to the nation's liberation.
