Strong Reaction From Vice President

Dhankhar said the act was "ridiculous and unacceptable". "Mimicry of the Speaker, imitation of the Chairman, how absurd, embarrassing, and inappropriate," he uttered. "I saw a video on TV, a big leader was making a video, while another MP was copying," pointing at Rahul Gandhi, who was also allegedly spotted taping the entire affair Vice President said, "May he come to his senses."

Opposition MPs were suspended for the remainder of the Winter Session on the grounds of their "misconduct" and disregard for the Chair's instructions.
