Japan is one of the most disciplined and amazing countries in the world and is famous for its culture. Again and again, Japan has proven that its culture and people's trust have made it a great place to live. Time and time again, the videos of Japan having no shopkeeper and following rules despite getting late set the nation apart from others.

Recently, there is a video that is circulating on social media that draws a comparison between Japan's civic sense and that of India. This video has gone viral, which has created debate about the ground-level dynamics of civic consciousness.

An X user named @GabbarSingh posted a video of Japanese people standing in a queue for stairs to go up even after the other side of the stairs for going down are empty. This has erupted a debate under comments, as the question of this video was, “Can India ever reach this level of Civic sense? Ever?”

This video has garnered over 800,000 views and has triggered an online debate. One of the users replied, “They too will lose their civic sense if they are in India. In Japan, they probably are losing a few minutes. In India, if people follow this discipline, everyone will be 5 hours late to work. Thanks to population. Indians believe in max use of resource than following rules.”

Another user said, “Can Japan operate like India at 140 cr population count? That's the moot question. That's the reason why Tamilnadu and Bihar have a gulf of difference in the civic sense. Population. Numbers. Pressure on resources.”
