Success Story: One of the hardest exams to pass in order to become an Indian IAS, IFS, IRS, IPS, or IES officer is the UPSC exam. One must study diligently for several hours in order to pass the test. Thousands of people attempt to sit for the exam to become officers each year. A small percentage of them make it through the most difficult exam, which is divided into three sections: the exam, the interview, and the personality test. Born in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, Saransh Gupta abandoned a lucrative corporate career to sit for the UPSC exam and finally became an officer in the Indian Engineering Services (IES). Saransh was born into a family full of encouragement and finished his schooling in his hometown before attempting to gain admission to IIT BHU to pursue a degree in civil engineering by passing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

Sanjeev Gupta, Saransh's father, is a panchayat secretary, while Saransh's mother is a homemaker. He has a brother and sister, who have both worked in a bank for a long time, in addition to that. There are even claims that he was offered a position with a salary package of Rs 16 lakh, but he decided to take the UPSC exam because he wanted to do something worthwhile with his life.

Rejects High-Paying Job

Saransh passed the UPSC exam on his first try, in spite of the difficulties and years of study needed. He said in an interview that becoming an IES officer and serving his country is his favorite job, and he was happy with his decision. He's gotten appointment letters from a lot of companies, but he thinks serving the country is the best option.

UPSC: Final Result 2023

Recently, the Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC ESE Final Result 2023. A total of 401 individuals, comprising 178 for civil engineering, 46 for mechanical engineering, 64 for electrical engineering, and 113 for electronics and communications engineering, have been nominated for appointment under various disciplines.
