Success Story: Pimple Saudagar (Pune) native Kanak Sachin Sahasrabuddhe, 18, is scheduled to enlist in the 151st NDA course Army Wing on December 26, 2023, in an incredible show of patriotism and resolve. Kanak, who placed 367th on the UPSC's All India Merit list, stated that he was extremely motivated to enlist in the Indian Army as a result of seeing the February 14, 2019, Pulwama incident. Kanak participated in the NDA and NA Exam on April 16, 2023, and in June 2023, he was interviewed for the SSB in Bangalore.

Pulwama Attack Incident: A Heartbreaking Encounter 

Kanak was greatly affected by the news of the Pulwama incident, in which a suicide bomber attacked a convoy of 78 buses transporting 2500 paramilitary soldiers from Jammu to Srinagar. He remembers hearing a small child sing an emotional poem after losing his father in the attack. Kanak's resolve to dedicate himself to the Indian Army was sparked by this heartbreaking encounter.

Kanak: Under Proper Guidance

Apex Careers's professors, including Lt Col Pradeep Brahmankar, provided counsel to Kanak, one of their students. In the ICSE Boards, he achieved a remarkable 94%, while in the XII HSC Boards, after attending Vidya Valley Jr College in Chinchwad, he achieved an impressive 73%. These highlights his exceptional academic performance. In an effort to achieve his objective, Kanak spent two years as an NDA batch coach with Apex Careers. Additionally, Lt Col Pradeep Brahmankar and other SSB expert officers gave him invaluable advice throughout his SSB Interview coaching at Apex Careers.

Kanak: An Allrounder

Kanak is an all-around player who loves a variety of sports and activities outside of school. In class XI, he became interested in football after excelling as the captain of a cricket team in the eighth and ninth grades. In addition to basketball, badminton, chess, and boxing, he is versatile. Kanak also likes to spend his free time watching movies and television shows, playing the piano, and reading mythology-related books.

Kanak credits his mother, Mrs. Kashmira Sahasrabuddhe, a pre-primary teacher at Wisdom World School, his father, Mr. Sachin Sahasrabuddhe, an IT professional with UBS Pune, and his younger brother, Samyak, a class X student, for their support in his success. In addition to thanking his late grandfather, he feels that the training faculty as a whole, as well as Lt Col Pradeep Brahmankar, Director of Apex Careers, were crucial in forming his success.
