"SMIT is a leading technical institution in the country which is on its course to become innovation n incubation hub for the north-east. Our six-month mandatory internship in the industry and collaborative projects with organizations like DRDO, ISRO differentiates us from the rest.
Through the Innovation and Incubation Centre, a number of student-driven startups have been registered."
SMIT is one of India’s premier technology and management institutes. Spread across 35 beautifully landscaped acres, the campus is home to over 3200 students, 220 members of faculty and a large and efficient team of support staff.
The academic standard of SMIT is at par with the best institutes in the country. A highly qualified and dedicated faculty ensures that the students are provided with a holistic education that makes them job ready, industry ready and most important, life ready.
