You must have heard that 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, but there is a high probability that you might not know what it actually means. If you are someone who is not well-versed with the Chinese zodiac system it will be hard for you to understand. Just like mainstream astrology, Chinese astrology also categorizes people in 12 zodiac signs. However, the difference here is that one’s birth year is what determines their zodiac. 

It all started centuries ago when the Jade Emperor was finding a way to measure time for his people.

Also known as Shengxiao, the Chinese Zodiac is a repeating cycle of 12 years. Each year, however, is represented by a different animal. In order, the 12 animals are Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig.
