Christmas, which is celebrated on December 25, commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ and is one of the most sacred days in Christianity. People exchange gifts, visit churches, and decorate their houses to celebrate this festival. 

This day also holds great religious significance for Christians around the world because it marks the incarnation of Jesus, who represents God's love and salvation. Silent night 

This carol was originally written in German. ‘Stille Nacht’ was composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber with lyrics by Joseph Mohr. It was translated to English in 1859. During the Christmas truce of 1914 during World War I, the carol was sung simultaneously by English and German troops.

O Come, O Come Emmanuel

This hymn originates from Latin and was translated to English in 1861. The music for the hymn was composed in a manner that the English and Latin words can be used interchangeably.

Shepherd’s pipe carol

This carol celebrates the piping of a shepherd boy on his way to see the baby Jesus at Bethlehem. It was composed by John Rutter when he was just a school boy.

The three kings 

It was written by Peter Cornelius in 1857. This carol is designed in a manner that three male voices can sing a verse each to correspond with the three kings.
