Luka Doncic slap during timeout just a retaliation from Jamahl Mosley

Jamahl Mosley, who is an assistant coach for Dallas Mavericks, gave a light slap on Luka Doncic’s cheek during a timeout on Sunday, December 10, 2019 night’s 138-122 win against the Memphis Grizzlies. Grizzlies scored 34, 28, 29, 31 in the first, second, third and fourth quarter respectively. On the other hand, Mavericks scored 31,37, 36, and 34 in the first, second, third and fourth quarter respectively.

Playful slap

According to the reports by a leading news publication, Doncic often gives Mosley a shot to the ribs coming out of timeouts and they termed Mosley’s slap simply as a playful retaliation. It is still not clear though that it was playful or not as Doncic was seen surprised after the incident. In the video, it seemed like that the slap by Mosley caught Doncic attention because he can be seen turning back towards Mosley with a confused look after the incident.

In the end, Doncic led the Mavericks side as they had a win against Grizzlies on Sunday. The 20-year-old star scored 24 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists, and two steals.

He scored 14 points in the third quarter of the match. In their recent match of NBA, Mavericks lost 106-116 to Boston Celtics. However, Doncic scored 34 points, six rebounds and nine assists in this match.
