Steve Smith was forced to retire hurt after a lethal bouncer from his Rajasthan Royals team-mate Jofra Archer in the 71st over. The English players rushed towards him as soon as he went down after being hit on the top of the neck by Archer's 92.4mph delivery. The Aussie batsman showed great bravery and determination after being struck on the elbow by the Barbadian pacer earlier.

Harsha Bhogle describes Jofra Archer's fiery pace

As Archer was bowling some thunderous deliveries, Harsha Bhogle came forward to talk about the same in a series of tweets.

In his first tweet, 'The Voice of Indian Cricket' took to social media and wrote 'If there is anyone who bowls a meaner, crueller, better disguised bouncer than Jofra Archer, he hasn't been seen yet.'

The 58-year-old then wrote that Archer ambles in, never too far from a smile as he has now deceived two greats in Hashim Amla and Steve Smith with pace off the track. He then added that the spell is one which no one will forget and then said that test cricket is the greatest examination in sport.

In another tweet, the veteran commentator mentioned that 'Archer was bowling unpinned grenades at one end and Leach handpicked bouquets at the other!'

Meanwhile, the fans were very annoyed with the speedster's unsporting gesture after injuring Smith.
