Ind vs SA: A mix of power and tactics

Rohit Sharma's prowess in ODI cricket is something that is acknowledged by most of the cricketing world. The man who scored five centuries in the 2019 Cricket World Cup alone, had only scored three in Test cricket, before this morning. Rohit opened the innings with Mayank Agarwal and paced himself beautifully. He played his trademark shots but also planned his innings impeccably. Occasionally jumping out of the crease to smash a spinner for a six over long-on, Rohit Sharma has been in no way different from how he is against the white ball. In the calm innings that is currently underway, Rohit got to his fifty in 84 balls. On the 154th ball, Rohit guided the ball through the off-side to get a single and go from 99 to 100. He is currently at 115 runs off the 174 deliveries he has faced. He has hit 12 fours and 5 sixes.
