"It's much bigger than what I'm accustomed to seeing. It's about a lot of tall buildings": Alzarri Joseph talks about Mumbai before potential IPL debut

West-Indian fast bowler Alzarri Joseph is all set to make his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians. The 22-year old was roped in by the Mumbai Indians as a replacement for New Zealand speedster Adam Milne who was ruled out of the tournament due to a heel injury. Joseph was also a part of the West Indies team that lifted the U-19 World Cup in 2016. The young fast bowler from Antigua had arrived in India last week and he started his first practice session with the three-time champions on Sunday. Joseph shared his love for the game, about his visit to India and being under the supervision of two world-class bowlers.

His franchise Mumbai Indians took to Twitter to share the video of his interview.

"Its my first time in India and I am very excited to be here. It is much bigger than what I am accustomed to see. It is about a lot of tall buildings. Where I am from it is mainly a lot of trees and a lot of water. So it is really an established city. I haven't really seen much. I am going to try and experience the city as much as I can and lean about India on a whole", said Joseph.

Joseph also mentioned that he got a message when he was at home watching the IPL from the Team Manager which literally took him by surprise.as it was unexpected but at the same time it was a good feeling for him as he was going to feature in his first IPL  for such a big team which has a big reputation.

He was full of praises for legendary bowlers Zaheer Khan and Lasith Malinga who are also a part of Mumbai Indians. 

"Zaheer Khan and Lasith Malinga are two of the best bowlers in the world. So I will try to learn as much as I can, ask as much questions as I can to pick their brains and ry to get in a bit of their experience", he added. 

The Mumbai Indians will take on the Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede stadium on Wednesday.
