MS Dhoni had last made his presence felt in Indian colors during the semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against New Zealand where India had suffered a heartbreaking defeat. Post the World Cup debacle, Mahi had backed out from the West Indies tour as he had expressed his desire to join the Indian Army. In fact, Dhoni was a part of a two-week stint with the 106th battalion of the Territorial Army which had commenced from July 31 and ended on August 15. It was reported that he is on a break from cricket till December. Meanwhile, since he still has a couple more months to get back in action, the 2011 World Cup-winner is trying to keep himself engaged.
Being a professional sportsman, it seems that sports is what keeps MSD engaged during his free time. Recently, he was seen playing billiards along with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MLA Kunal Sarangi at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association and now MS Dhoni was spotted playing football with Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor in Mumbai. The video of the veteran wicket-keeper batsman enjoying a game of soccer along with the 'Aurangzeb' actor was posted on Instagram.

Football has been Dhoni's favorite sport ever since his childhood days. He was an excellent goal-keeper during his school days and it is his wicket-keeping skills that made him the world-class wicket-keeper that he is today. Not only this, but Mahi also co-owns an Indian Super League (ISL) team Chennaiyin FC along with Vita Dani and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan. Chennaiyin FC have won the ISL title twice in 2015 and 2017 respectively.
During an official interview with Republic TV, former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan revealed that MS Dhoni always gave him one advice- "If nothing is working, just get angry and pick a fight with someone." He stated that he would follow the advice and stay "in the zone".
