Rohit Sharma continues to have a dream run in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as he scored yet another blistering ton against Sri Lanka at Leeds on Saturday. This was the Indian vice-captain's third consecutive century in the ongoing quadrennial event. At the same time, the Hitman also became the first batsman to register five hundreds in a single edition of the World Cup which is also a record. He also added 189 runs with KL Rahul for the first wicket.
It was Sharma's 27th ODI ton. The Hitman scored a 94-ball 103 at a strike rate of 109.57 which included 14 boundaries and two maximums. He was adjudged Man of the Match for his blistering knock.
