ODI World Cup: Guwahati Hotel makes laughable goof-up over Hardik Pandya's reservation

Indian cricket team all-rounder Hardik Pandya suffered a major prank ahead of Team India's first ODI World Cup 2023 warm match against England in Guwahati.

Team India will be aiming to end their ten-year-old drought of not winning an ICC title in the upcoming edition of the ODI World Cup. Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya will be a crucial part of the Rohit Sharma-led Indian squad. The Indian team was supposed to play England in their first warm-up match of the CWC 2023 in Guwahati, however, the match was abandoned due to rain.

Guwahati makes a huge blunder with Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya 

Ahead of the Indian cricket team's first CWC 2023 warm-up match against England, a hotel in Guwahati was supposed to host the 'Men in Blue'. However, the hotel made a colossal blunder with the name of Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya. He is a part of the Indian squad for the ODI World Cup 2023 and was sent the wrong check in the mail by the hotel management. However, the mail was delivered to the wrong, 'Hardik Pandya'. 

It was not the Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya who received the mail from the hotel management, but a staff of an ed-tech company who received the hotel check-in alert. He shared the screenshot of the mail on his official 'X' (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote:

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been an essential part of the Indian team for the past few years and has won matches with both the bat and ball. Pandya has played the role of a finisher really well for the 'Men in Blue' and has also taken wickets with the new ball in the past few days.
