The young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant took to Twitter and wished former Indian opener Virender Sehwag on his birthday. Virender Sehwag celebrates his 41st birthday on Sunday, October 20. 


Sehwag has always been supportive of young talent. He also recently supported Rishabh Pant as he faced criticism for throwing away his wicket. "I think Pant should also look to become a performer. He should concentrate on his shot selection. He has awesome talent and if he improves his shot selection, I am sure he will serve India for the next 15 years,” Sehwag said.

As an explosive opening batsman, Virender Sehwag is known for playing brutal and fearless knocks and has often got the team off to a flying start with his dynamic batting. Reacting to BCCI's wishes, Virender Sehwag said that timing mattered the most and that he was impressed with the timing of BCCI's birthday wishes to him.

Sehwag's witty reply to Vaughan's birthday wish

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag sent a witty response to Michael Vaughan's birthday wishes after the latter wished him for his 50th birthday instead of the actual 41st. Former England skipper Michael Vaughan tried to pull Virender Sehwag's leg as he took to Twitter to wish the explosive opener his 50th birthday.

Virender Sehwag, who is on a replying spree to all those who wished him, mocked Michael Vaughan and sarcastically asked him how he managed to keep track of his age. In addition to this, Virender Sehwag said that he was timeless and ageless, inviting a flurry of funny responses from the netizens.
