With ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 around the corner, one of Team India's sensational batsmen, KL Rahul rediscovered his rhythm in the second warm-up game against Bangladesh at Cardiff on Tuesday. India were asked to bat first by Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza. Rahul came into bat after India had lost their top order early. The young batsman added 164 runs for the fifth wicket along with MS Dhoni. Rahul scored an impressive 99-ball 108 which included 12 boundaries and four maximums at a strike rate of 109.09. His marvellous innings was cut short as he was castled by Sabbir Rahman.
The netizens came forward to hail Rahul after a stellar knock.
This was a morale-boosting knock for Rahul who had failed against New Zealand. The knock comes just a week before India begin their World Cup campaign against South Africa on June 5.
