It happened during the 34th over of the first innings which was bowled by left-arm spinner Fabian Allen. On his very first delivery, Allen bowled one which beat MS Dhoni's outside edge and ended up completely deceiving the veteran wicket-keeper batsman. However, Shai Hope made a total mess of it behind the stumps. The Caribbean stumper failed to collect the ball properly. Nonetheless, he could have easily dislodged the bails in the second attempt as well but, he failed to do so as his hand came in contact with the stumps as the bails were dislodged following which Hope lost his focus off the ball. Sensing an opportunity, Kohli and Dhoni ran a quick single and thereby, added insult to injury.
