An incident in which Washington Nationals fan Jeff Adams took a direct hit as the match ball hit his chest during game 5 between Houston Astros and Washington Nationals - as he was too busy saving beers he was holding in both his hands - has gone viral. Incredibly, the viral sensation did not know he had created waves online until much later.
A direct to save $25 Bud light beers
When Houston Astros' Yordan Alvarez hit a home run in the second innings, Jeff was walking down the stairs with a couple of $25 Bud light beers in both his hands, when he saw the ball coming and decided to stop the ball with his chest instead of dropping the beer that he had bought and wasting it. He added that he got the ball as well but was not hurt at all. Adams stated that it was his 15-year-old lucky hat that helped him catch the ball without dropping the beer.

Nationals fan holding two beers and absorbed Alvarez’s HR missile into your gut, got the ball, didn’t spill a drop - you are my spirit animal

One such user commented that the Washington Nationals fan must have been a former player or something.
Great job by the #Nationals fan who did not drop either beer and played the ball off his stomach. Must be a former catcher or goaliepic.twitter.com/ke9r8X7PX3

One such tweet talked about how Jeff said that the Houston Astros don't hit an hour enough and that is why he didn't get hurt whereas someone else called him a hero and asked everyone to reward him.
