WWE SmackDown: Cain Velasquez enters the ring to destroy Brock Lesnar

A new era of WWE kicked off with The Rock and Becky Lynch kicking off the debt episode of the blue band show on FOX. The show also featured colossal main event with Kofi Kingston defending his WWE Championship against the beast Brock Lesnar. But the main surprise came after the match when Lesnar was shocked to see his former UFC rival Cain Velasquez make his way to the ring to help his masked friend Rey Mysterio. Who was this friend? WWE SmackDown: Brock Lesnar vs Kofi Kingston

WWE Championship was on line when Kingston faced Lesnar in the main event of SmackDown. Kingston came to the ring with something to prove and keep his winning streak alive, but he was unable to. As soon as the bell rang, Lesnar caught a fully charged Kingston mid-air and delivered an F-5 to the champ to win the match in just nine seconds. Then the iconic theme song of Rey Mysterio played and the Luchador arrived with former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.

WWE SmackDown: Brock Lesnar vs Cain Velasquez

If you’re unaware, Cain knocked out Lesnar to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship from him. After his defeat, Lesnar was unable to fight for months. In Friday's match, Velasquez took Lesnar down and punished him by delivering several punches to the Beast. Lesnar later fled from the ring with Paul Hayman and his WWE Championship belt. Later, in an interview, Velasquez revealed his real motive to come to SmackDown. Velasquez said that he was there because of what Lesnar did earlier in RAW. Lesnar assaulted Mysterio and his son Dominick which made him angry and being Mysterio’s friend he decided to arrive in SmackDown.
