This Tuesday night was the last time WWE SmackDown was broadcasted by USA Network. The brand moved to Fox Network, and the WWE show will be shifted to Friday. WWE and Fox have teased fans with what is about to come, as there are significant changes made. During the Fox debut in a tell-an interview, Kofi Kingston was preparing for a match with Brock Lesnar. Roman Reigns also requested to clear all misunderstandings with Daniel Bryan. The fourth face-off this week was between Shinsuke Nakamura and Ali.
The bout between Nakamura and Ali was filled with revenge. Throughout the match, Sami Zayn often interrupted at ringside. Ali desperately tried to overcome The Artist and refused to stay down no matter what Nakamura tried. Ali even blocked Nakamura mid-Kinshasa with one of his superkicks. The Critic of Critics had to pull Nakamura outside to prevent a 450 splash. Ali almost ran Zayn down, but came face-to-face with a Kinshasa and gave The Artist the win.
The outcome might have disappointed many fans, but the match was interesting and happening. Most fans wanted Ali to get a chance without Zayn's constant interruption. Irrespective of the history they share, Ali always brings out the best in Nakamura. Hopefully, this is not the end for the duo.
Daniel Bryan vs Erick Rowan, Chad Gable vs Mike Kanellis, Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair and Carmella and The New Day vs. The B-Team, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville vs. Asuka and Kairi Sane were the other matches for the day.
