The debut episode of SmackDown on FOX was filled with twists and turns from the start. The Rock and Becky Lynch kicked off the debut SmackDown episode. The show featured a colossal main event with Kofi Kingston defending his WWE Championship against 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar. SmackDown also had some other important matches like Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon and the Eight-Man Tag Team Match. The Tag Team Match, saw Braun Strowman, The Miz and Heavy Machinery going up against Raw tag team champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, United States champion AJ Styles and Randy Orton. The match was short-lived, but what happened after the match between Braun Strowman and boxer Tyson Fury grabbed everyone’s attention.
After destroying the opposition team, Braun Strowman turned to WBC heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, who was standing outside the ring. Braun Strowman raised his fists to taunt the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion. Tyson Fury responded with the same gesture and Strowman went on to continue his match. In the latter part of the match, Strowman threw Ziggler onto Fury, which knocked him out of balance back into his seat.
Fury reacted by jumping the guard rail, and as he was about to enter the ring to take his revenge, security guards came and restrained him. According to reports, the always controversial Tyson Fury has been offered an open forum on Monday night on Raw to speak his mind and explain his reaction which got him restrained by the security. Whatever happens, fans are eager to see what happens coming Monday between The Gypsy King and the Monster among Men.
