Nikki Cross is currently one of the most important women wrestlers in the SmackDown roster. According to a report by Squared Circle Sirens (via Heel by Nature), the blue brand superstar has signed a new extension deal with the company. While the deals of the contract are yet to be revealed, one thing is confirmed that Cross has signed a multi-year deal with WWE. According to WWE, Nikki Cross first signed the deal with the company in 2016 and since then, she has been included in the main roster. She teamed up with Alexa Bliss to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship title. However, she had to lose the title to The Kabuki Warriors at this year’s Hell in the Cell PPV.

WWE SmackDown: Sasha Banks vs Nikki Cross

The match started with Sasha Banks delivering pain to Cross, but the former Tag Team Champion got out. After that, she sent The Boss flying into her friend Bayley. After returning from the break, Cross tried to build up some momentum, but she was unable too as the former women’s champion countered every one of her moves. In the later part of the show, both the superstars exchanged a series of near-falls with neither of them able to put the other down for the count. But a backstabber followed with the Bank Statement forced Cross to submit and The Boss stood victorious.
