Champions Trophy 2025: Rohit Sharma 's India defeated and embarrassed Mohammad Rizwan's Pakistan yet again in Dubai. Inia defeated Pakistan by six wickets in their crucial Champions Trophy game. The 'men in green' were so dismal with their performances that it never looked like a even contest. Amid all the fanfare and hype, Pakistan, as always ran out of gas and their Champions Trophy campaign is virtually over. Pakistan's skipper Mohammad Rizwan admitted to the fact that his team was out of the ongoing CT 2025 tournament.
Pakistan's performances have been so substandard in recent times that it hasn't even surprised their former players. Fans and experts from Pakistan always expected their team to lose against India in the recently concluded IND vs PAK Champions Trophy clash. The 'Rawalpindi Express' aka Shoaib Akhtar openly said that he was not disappointed by Pakistan's loss because he knew that it would happen.

Pakistan Legends Label Team Management As Brainless and Clueless
Pakistan legends such as Shoiab Akhtar, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Shoaib Malik have all expressed their frustration with the Pakistan team and its management. Akhtar went to the extent of saying that there the people managing the team are brainless and clueless. Shoaib Akhtar also tweeted a video of former Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik's video where he can be heard singing a famous track 'dil ke armaan aansuon mein beh gaye'.

Shoaib Akhtar's former teammate Wasim Akram did not hold himself back and asked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) supremo Mohsin Naqvi to intervene and ask tough questions. Akram also reiterated on the fact that the team needs drastic changes so that they can start preparing for the 2026 T20 World Cup .
Former Pakistan coach and player Waqar Younis also said that there is no discipline in the team. Younis specifically pointed out how undisciplined Pakistan's bowlers were. Younis also pointed out the fact that nobody really knows what is going so wrong for the Pakistan cricket team.

India have now defeated Pakistan in 11 out of the 14 ICC matches. Pakistan had defeated India in the Champions Trophy 2017 final, but it seems as if the 'Men in Blue' have had their revenge. Virat Kohli also brought up his 51st ODI ton in the match and became the first-ever cricketer to achieve this feat. India are through to the Champions Trophy semi-finals and Pakistan are on the verge of another group stage exist, an outcome that has been haunting them for quite sometime now. If New Zealand beat Bangladesh in their next Champions Trophy clash, then Pakistan's campaign will be well and truly over.
