ICC Champions Trophy 2025: It was a night to forget for Mohammed Rizwan and his Pakistan Cricket team. Team India beat Pakistan by six wickets to deflate their chances of making the Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final. To be honest, Pakistan was outplayed in all three departments by India. But what stole the show was Pakistan captain Rizwan. During the game, Rizwan was spotted with the ‘tasbeeh’ praying for a change of fortune. That did not happen, but Rizwan got mocked for his action. Spotting Rizwan's act, former India cricketer Suresh Raina mocked him. Raina claimed India captain Rohit Sharma is also reading the 'Mahamrityunjay mantra'. Here is the clip of Rizwan that is now going viral on social space.

Meanwhile, with two consecutive losses, Pakistan's chances of making the semi-final is all but over. They would need a miracle to now qualify for the knockout stage. On the other hand, India have almost secured a semis berth for themselves.

‘We thought 280 was a good score’
"We thought 280 was a good score on this pitch. In middle overs, their bowlers bowled very well and got our wickets. Me and Saud Shakeel, we took time because we wanted to take it deep. After that, wrong, poor shot selection. They put us under pressure and that's why we were squeezed to 240. Whenever you lose, it means you didn't perform in all departments," Rizwan said at the post-match presentation.
Pakistan still have a match against Bangladesh, while India will play it's last group-stage match against New Zealand. For Pakistan to qualify, a lot of results have to go in their favour and then they have to beat Bangladesh by a huge margin to stand any chance of making it through.
