During the toss for the semi-final clash between India and Australia, Rohit Sharma lost the toss once again. With him losing the toss against Australia it was the 11th time in a row that the Indian Captain has lost the toss.
With Rohit Sharma losing the toss for the eleventh straight time he got his name next to Peter Borren and Brian Lara for most consecutive toss losses.

Rohit Sharma Could Top Chart For Unwanted Record
Rohit Sharma is currently tied in second place with Peter Borren of Netherlands for the second most consecutive toss losses. Brian Lara holds the record with 12 consecutive toss losses during the phase of October 1998 to May 1999. If India defeat Australia in the semifinals, Rohit Sharma will have a chance to match Brian Lara for this unwanted record with 12 consecutive toss losses.

As the toss did not go India's way, Australian captain Steve Smith put the Indian team to bowl first in the ICC Champions Trophy semi-final.
